Lasting Impressions MO LLC is dedicated to providing Individualized Supportive Living (ISL) services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Pettis County, Missouri. Founded in 2002 by Tom and Shannon Wassam, our organization offers personalized support in home and community-based settings.

Meet the Owners
Shannon Wassam
Co-Founder & Owner
Shannon Wassam is the heart behind Lasting Impressions. In 2002, alongside her husband Tom, Shannon opened their home to children with disabilities, driven by a deep belief that every person deserves a loving family and a place to belong. What began as a calling quickly grew into a lifelong mission—and ultimately, the foundation of Lasting Impressions MO LLC.
With over two decades of hands-on experience, Shannon brings unmatched compassion, wisdom, and integrity to everything she does. She is known for her calm presence, her fierce advocacy for the people we support, and her unwavering commitment to quality, person-centered care.
Shannon continues to play an active role in shaping the values, culture, and direction of the company—ensuring that every decision is rooted in love, respect, and the belief that every life leaves a lasting impression.
Tom Wassam
Co-Founder, Owner, & DSP Success Coordinator
Tom Wassam is the visionary co-founder of Lasting Impressions MO LLC. In 2002, Tom and his wife Shannon opened their home to children with disabilities, laying the foundation for a company built on compassion, inclusion, and family. His leadership is rooted in the simple yet powerful belief that everyone deserves a safe, loving place to call home.
Tom is a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of the unique needs of those we serve. Known for his steady leadership, creative problem-solving, and strong values, Tom has been instrumental in guiding Lasting Impressions from a single household to a thriving agency supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout our community.
To this day, Tom remains actively involved in the day-to-day operations, mentoring staff and ensuring that every individual receives the dignity, respect, and opportunity they deserve.
Keegan Wassam
Director & Co-Owner
As Director and Co-Owner of Lasting Impressions MO LLC, Keegan Wassam carries forward the mission and legacy begun by his parents, Tom and Shannon.
He primarily oversees Human Resources, Workforce Development, and Executive Leadership, working to ensure our team is equipped, supported, and aligned with our values.
With a strong focus on staff training, employee engagement, and organizational development, Keegan is passionate about building a workplace where team members feel empowered and inspired to provide exceptional care. He leads efforts around recruitment, onboarding, policy implementation, and performance development—ensuring that our workforce is not only compliant, but deeply connected to the “why” behind the work.
Raised in the world of disability services, Keegan combines generational insight with a forward-thinking approach. He is deeply committed to advocacy, family values, and maintaining a workplace where both employees and clients feel seen, supported, and valued.

The Heart Behind the Support
At Lasting Impressions MO LLC, our office team works behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly — from hiring and training, to compliance, payroll, and quality assurance. While our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are on the front lines delivering care, our office staff serve as the foundation that keeps our mission strong and sustainable.
